2.  Dual Window coupler (DWC)

 

1. Product Description:

 

Dual window coupler (DWC) is built by asymmetric coupling technique. The operating bandwidth of this coupler was expanding to ±40nm. The DWC coupler has the same coupling ratio on both 1310nm and 1550nm communication windows, and with low excess loss and low PDL.

Besides unique bandwidth expanding techniques (asymmetric techniques), We also uses advanced polarization insensitive coupler techniques to build the wide band coupler with both low WDL and the low PDL. This product has been used in EDFA and DWDM communication systems.

4.  980/1550nm Mixed Fiber Wavelength Division Multiplexer (WDM)

 

1. Product Description:

 

980/1550nm and 980/1590nm WDM Couplers are widely used in EDFA. They combine the 980nm pump power and optical signal into the Er-fiber. The mixed fiber 980/1550nm WDM uses common SMF-28 standard fiber as coupler’s 1550nm signal port, while the 980nm pump and the common port use Corning HI 1060 Flex or OFS BF05635-02 980nm fiber.

Three-window coupler (TWC) is newly developed. Built by asymmetric coupling technique, TWC operating bandwidth is expanding to 1310nm, 1490nm and 1550nm three communication windows. The TWC has the same coupling ratio on 1310, 1490 and 1550 nm communication windows, with low excess loss and low PDL. TWC are widely used for communication systems, CATV, FTTH, where multiple optical signals pass through single fiber.

6.  980/1550nm Wavelength Division Multiplexer (WDM)

 

1. Product Description:

 

980/1550nm and 980/1590nm WDM Couplers are widely used in EDFA. They combine the pump power and optical signal into the Er-fiber. 980/1550nm WDM is for EDFA C-band, and the 980/1590nm WDM is for EDFA L-band.

These couplers were built of Corning HI 1060 Flex or OFS BF05635-02 fiber.

7.  1480/1550nm Wavelength Division Multiplexer (WDM)

 

1. Product Description:

 

1480/1550nm and 1480/1590nm WDM couplers are widely used in EDFA. They combine the 1480nm pump power and optical into the Er-fiber. 1480/1550nm WDM is used for EDFA C-band; 1480/1590nm WDM in EDFA L-band.

These products are high stable and passed Telcordia 1209 and 1221 tests.
