LFP (Link Fault Pass Through) feature enhances the TP-Fiber Link integrity and conformity. Either one of TP or Fiber port is in link-fail state, the LFP converter forces the other port to be at link-disabled state.

LFP Function(Link fault pass through)

1. ON--- The function is usable.

TX=>Fiber: If TX port link down, then converter will forced fiber to link down.
Fiber =>TX: If Fiber port link down, the media converter will forced TX port to link down.

2. OFF---The function is disable

Notice: when you turn the switch to ON or OFF to change current mode, please make sure power turn off and turn on again!
